Overview

Central Gippsland Institute of TAFE, more commonly known as GippsTAFE, trains and educates more than 12.000 students each year. The Gippslands enjoy a reputation as the leading power producing region in Australia, so unsurprisingly energy, mining and telecommunications industries play a vital role in the TAFEs course schedule. Established in 1928 the institute is one of the founding members of the Gippsland Education Precinct (GEP), a network of educational institutions throughout the area.
