Work part-time whilst you study
At CHARLTON BROWN, our Agency and Employment Support Coordinator can assist in finding you part-time, paid work (in accordance with your visa), across the disciplines, with our industry partners on a casual, shortterm or permanent basis, in live-in and live-out positions.
For those studying child-related qualifications, we also have a Nanny Agency on-site. If you are studying Child Care and you are interested in part-time work or casual baby-sitting, you can register with us as a nanny.
Pathways to further study
CHARLTON BROWN promotes pathways to universities and other educational institutions, through our articulation agreements, across all featured disciplines.
Examples of such pathways include an 18 month Diploma of Nursing with Careers Australia Group College of Healthcare, from the Certificate IV in Aged Care, or an option to pursue a Bachelor Level Degree with the University of Southern Queensland or Griffith University.

Overseas Student Health Cover
CHARLTON BROWN has an arrangement with Australian Health Management (AHM) to provide the health cover you require. The cost of your OSHC is in addition to your tuition fees for your course/s and will vary depending on the length and type of cover required. Your OSHC will be arranged by CHARLTON BROWN.
Students requiring transfers from the Brisbane domestic or international airports can arrange for a CHARLTON BROWN representative to meet them on arrival and transport them safely to their accommodation. For more information please contact our free student service.

CHARLTON BROWN College offers 11 vocational education and training
qualifications in the community services sector in Australia.
Students can enroll in a single course, or package together a selection of
qualifications ranging from Certificate II to Advanced Diploma in child
care, aged care, disability care and community services management.
Study programs vary in duration from 12 weeks up to 24 months, during which time students are required to undertake practical on the job work placement as part of their training.
CHARLTON BROWN has strong industry links which enable students to access paid work (up to 20 hours per week) in their chosen industry as well as enhance their study and work experience in Australia.
International students wishing to enroll at CHARLTON BROWN must meet the
following entry requirements:
- Minimum 18 years of age
- IELTS 5.0 (or equivalent) for Certificate level courses
- IELTS 5.5 (or equivalent) for Diploma and Advanced Diploma level
