Preparing for the kitten birth

One job I had in Australia for free accommodation involved the birth of kittens for a Siberian Cat.

We had to make sure we had towels ready as well as sterilised scissors to cut the umbilical cords of the baby kittens when they were born.

As soon as the cat went into labour we were constantly looking after it and making sure each birth went smoothly. We kept the cat calm and all the kittens were born successfully!

They were extremely cute and it was amazing to witness the birth of these cute little creatures!
