Overview

As a result of the merger of the Goulburn Valley and the Wangaratta Institutes of TAFE, in 1996 the Goulburn Ovens Institute of TAFE was established. Today it services a large rural area in northern Victoria and provides vocational training and education to some 15.000 students.

Location

The campuses of the Goulburn Ovens Institute of TAFE are spread throughout a region known as the Goulburn Valley. To the south the slopes of the Great Dividing Range loom and invite for some outdoor activities while in the north, close to the border with New South Wales, the mighty Murray River flows.
